Kara Gendron has been practicing bankruptcy law exclusively since 2001 and focuses her
practice on representing individuals, farmers, and small business owners in bankruptcy cases. Her experience in filing bankruptcy cases spans chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13 and she has also represented creditors in chapters 7, 11, and 13. She lives in Central Pennsylvania with her husband, four children, and assorted pets, including dogs, goats, and chickens. Kara is the Third Circuit Chair of the National Association of ConsumerBankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), is a current board member and has held various board positions, including past-President, of thePa. Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association (MDBBA), andis on the Middle District of Pa. Court Advisory Committee and Bankruptcy Rules Committee. She has been published by the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and the National Association of Chapter Thirteen Trustees (NACTT). She is board certified in consumer bankruptcy law, a bankruptcy court certified mediator, and taught bankruptcy law for several years at the Widener School of Law while maintaining her full timeprivate practice. Kara is a frequent course planner and presenter for national, state, and local bankruptcy law conferences, including NACBA, PBI, the MDBBA, and county barassociations.
