Kara Gendron is co-owner of Mott & Gendron Law which is located in Harrisburg, Pa. In her spare time, she loves to explore nature and hang out with her four kids at Hershey Park and various sporting activities. Kara has been practicing bankruptcy law exclusively since 2001 and focuses her practice on representing individuals, farmers, and small business owners in bankruptcy cases. She is also a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee and a Chapter 12 Bankruptcy Trustee. Kara serves as the Third Circuit Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and is a frequent course planner and presenter for national, federal, state, and local bankruptcy law seminars, including NACBA, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees (NABT), the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI), and the Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association (MDBBA). She is an active board member of the MDBBA and the Attorney Advisory Board for the MDPA Bankruptcy Court.  Kara was selected to serve on the American Bankruptcy Law Journal Advisory Board (ABLJ), which is published by the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) and began her term in 2023. Also this year, Kara was asked to join the Board of Directors of the American Board of Certification (ABC), which certifies attorneys as specialists in business bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights law.
