James F. Molleur practices law in Saco, Maine, and is the managing member of Molleur Law Office.  He concentrates his practice in bankruptcy primarily representing debtors, particularly consumer and small business debtors.  Jim received his B.A. degree in economics, magna cum laude, from Bowdon College in 1976, and his J.D. degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 1979.  He has lectured and written materials on bankruptcy issues for the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Maine State Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees.  He is also a certified specialist in consumer bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification.  Jim is a member of the York County and Maine State bar associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.  He was admitted to the Maine and Federal District Court bars in 1979, the First Circuit in 1998, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2010.  He was inducted into the American College of Bankruptcy in 2018.
